Poka Yoke

Poka-yoke a Japanese term meaning "mistake-proofing". A poka-yoke is any mechanism in a lean manufacturing process that helps equipment operators avoid mistakes. Its purpose is to eliminate product defects by preventing, correcting, or drawing attention to human errors as they occur. Mirage develops a range of jigs, fixtures, vision systems with integral Poka-yoke for it's clients, custom built to suit the process needs. Integrated tooling ensures the correct parts fitted, and correct torque for the fixings are applied before releasing the finished subassembly.
